I love telling stories and connecting people through flowers, and I’m delighted to highlight the various and vibrant ways that can be done in this new series, Follow The Blooms.

From field to art, connecting people along the way.

Katie Lila and her Follow the Blooms team make large-scale, fresh flower art with local blooms. Their goal is to connect people to flowers by sharing the stories of local flower farmers and what’s in bloom.

Each episode follows the path from field to art, beginning at a local farm where we meet the flowers and the farmers that grow them.  Next, we watch the design go from concept to reality as the team plans, troubleshoots, and works together to build the art.  Lastly, the big reveal showcases an event where people experience and interact with the flower design. It’s a beautiful ride that leaves us feeling connected, a little more flower savvy, and curious about flowers as art.
