want to be on follow the blooms?

We’re on the hunt for flower-obsessed creatives, growers, artists, and event visionaries who want to take their creativity beyond the vase and onto the screen.

If you've ever asked yourself, "What else can I do with flowers?" or if you’ve got a project that makes people stop and stare, we want to hear from you!

The Process

SUBMIT YOUR STORY

  • Do you have a story that needs to be told?

  • Do you grow, design, create, or have an idea to coordinate something magical with flowers?

  • Are you passionate about the ways flowers connect people, places, and purpose?

If you’re nodding along (or throwing flower petals in the air), we’d love to hear from you! Complete the form and items below to tell us about yourself, and let’s see if we can bloom together in Season 2.

FAQs

  • WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

People doing cool stuff (with flowers). Period.

    If you are:

    • A flower grower with big dreams and unique visions

    • A floral designer who isn’t afraid to break some “rules”

    • An artist or maker who uses flowers in your work OR you see the potential to add flowers to what you do in a wild new way (think: immersive art, flower installations, or integrating flowers into other creative forms)

    • An event coordinator planning something epic and ready to think outside the arch

Then we want to hear from you!

    WHAT WE’RE NOT LOOKING FOR:

    • Weddings (sorry, lovebirds!)

    • Arches

    • Individual celebrations or personal special occasions

    • Flower workshops or conferences (though we may consider it if the idea is mind-blowing!)

    • The same ol’ same ol’

(If we’ve seen it on Pinterest a million times, we’re more likely to say, “Thanks, but no thanks.”)

    WHAT WE’RE REALLY AFTER:

    • Authentic stories of flowers and people

    • Flowers in places they’ve never been before

    • Collaborations that make people go: WHAT? Now THAT’S cool!

    • Flower magic that’s interactive, unexpected, bold, and breaks the mold

    • People who are eager to grow an idea

  • By being featured on Follow the Blooms, you’ll gain significant exposure for your work, story, and creative talents. The show is currently distributed through KSPS PBS, AcresTV, and other platforms, reaching a wide and engaged audience who value flowers, art, and community. Plus, with our growing social media presence, behind-the-scenes content, and ongoing promotion, your work will be showcased in new places.

It’s a chance to highlight your artistry, grow your audience, and build meaningful connections. You become part of a community that's passionate about spreading the love of cut flowers.

  • Compensation will be dependent upon the scale of the project and our sponsors. (Hard goods, fresh goods, and time will be considered.)

  • Flowers for People is based in Spokane, WA. Depending on budget and our ability to find sponsorship connected to your episode, we will happily consider your project wherever you are at.

  • No worries! We’re not expecting you to have done something like this before. However, there are a few things that are important to note.

We’ll show up and film for 2–3 days. And yes, it’s a lot of fun but also a lot of work.

    You’ll need to be:

    • Comfortable with being on camera (Even if that means laughing at yourself a little. We do it too!)

    • Ready to roll with the punches (because sometimes we’ll need to do things twice – or twenty times.)

    • Open to the wonderful, wild and sometimes awkward ride of filming (because that’s where the magic happens)

  • Go for it! We love a good idea in progress. Just share what you’ve got. The concept, vision, and any details you’ve already nailed down.

  • As we receive submissions and begin shaping each episode, we’ll be in touch to set a tentative timeline. We’re planning to film in 2026, if not sooner.

please note

OUR PROCESS IS EVOLVING

We’re in the development phase for Season 2 of Follow the Blooms, and final selections will be dependent on sponsorships and partnerships. While we have a vision for what we’re creating and a timeline we’re working toward, the production schedule is contingent on securing the right support. If you’re interested in partnering with us, or know someone who might be a good fit for sponsorship, please connect with us!
